'Oh those bastards' by Zlatan
In this series of illustrations I explore the state of overexcitement when you see somebody from your childhood or summer vacation and can’s stop smiling or laughing. It is like being overtaken and not having control over the situation, which leads you to disintegrate into completely spontaneous behaviour. The mix of digital and traditional media emphasise the transitive state of this experience, as well as its immediacy and, probably, a kind of juvenile nature. Animals, instinctive movement and exoticism are the tackled themes in these illustrations.
